Q: EPAS Reports PR2 and PR3 contain zeroes or #Error
A:

There are 2 reasons why the PR2 / PR3 report may contain all zeroes or #Error

1. Run Calculate Pupil Reference - this can be found on the Available Data screen under General Maintenance
2. The 2000 Deviation table may be corrupted or empty.
Close EPAS.
Load the EPAS 2000 GCSE Data CD.
Start Windows Explorer.
Navigate to the EPAS database - leap.mdb - usually held in on the c: drive in folder ncerldb.
Double-click leap.mdb to open it in MS Access.
Click the Tables tab.
Find table 2000 Deviation and delete it.
From the menu select File / Get External Data / Import.
In the File dialog navigate to the CD.
Double-click on xxx_2000.mdb where xxx is your LEA Code (not LEA number).
In the Import Object dialog highlight 2000 Deviation.
Click OK - the table will now be imported.
Close MS Access .
Start EPAS.
Run Calculate Pupil Reference.
Run PR2 / PR3 .

The correct values should now be displayed.

If the problem persists then contact the EPAS Help Desk.

This problem will be addressed in a future release of EPAS .
