What is covered by Update V2.8.1 H?
This release includes the following fixes
1. English/363/GCSE (Double award) ext scale not included in 5+ A*-C including Eng & Maths
2. VA24D & VA34D not including Science Double Awd (1370)
3. Historical Trends - spurious grades causing HT to fail
4. ACR1 Summary - Average Points & Total Points swapped about
5. CAS01 not including Science Double Awd (1370)
6. Exam Maintenance fails if Syllabus or NCN is blank
7. GS2 not including Science Double Awd (1370)
8. VA34D transposing English by 1 level
9. 2 Good Sciences including all Applied Science exams
10. GEDP1 - 2 Good Science Data Field empty
11. G2 / G3 - not reporting on QAC 362 / 363 correctly
12. GS2 - not reporting on QAC 362 / 363 correctly
13. G4 - not reporting on QAC 362 / 363 correctly
14. GP2 Exam / Points Field being Truncated
15. GG1 - Eng/MAths Lvl 1 & GCSE Data Fields swapped around

Requirements
This update must only be applied if EPAS has been successfully upgraded to
version 2.8.1.
The following versions of Microsoft Access are covered: 97, 2000, 2002 / XP, 2003 and 2007
The following versions of Microsoft Windows are covered: 95, 98, 2000,
ME, NT4 and XP

Installation
This update only needs to be run once per EPAS Database.
1. If the database is standalone then run the update once on the standalone PC.
2. If the database is shared then run the update once on one of the client PCs
- All other Client PCs will be updated automatically at log in.
Download the following file
EPAS V2.8.1 H Update
If your IT Department does not allow .exe file downloads then download
the following file
EPAS V2.8.1 H Update (non-exe)
and rename update_2_8_1_h.xex as update_2_8_1_h.exe
1) Save the file to a temporary folder
2) Close EPAS
3) In Windows Explorer navigate to the temporary folder
4) Double click on update_2_8_1_h.exe
5) When the update is finished start EPAS
6) On the login screen Version 2.8.1 will be displayed in the bottom right hand corner
7) After login EPAS will automatically apply Update 20070032
8) The update will take approximately 30 mins
9) There is no need to recalculate any values
