What is covered by Update V2.8.5?
This release includes the following amended reports
AGMCR1
GCG1
GCG2
GCR1
GEDP1
GG1
GK2MCR1
GK3MCR1
GK3K2MCR1
The Key Stage 4 Modern Foreign Language indicators, MFL Level 2, Level 1 and Any Pass have been added to these reports
This release fixes the following problems
1. A2 / A3
Total AA-CC & AA-EE columns not calculated correctly
These columns and Total A-C & A-E replaced by
Total A-C Equiv and Total A-E Equiv
2. International Baccalaureate - Grades missing
The Grades are missing for International Baccalaureate exams
This fix restores them

Requirements
This update must only be applied if EPAS has been successfully upgraded to
version 2.8.3.
The following versions of Microsoft Access are covered: 97, 2000, 2002 / XP and 2003
- Please note that EPAS can be used with Microsoft Access 2007 but problems may be encountered especially when converting databases.
The following versions of Microsoft Windows are covered: 95, 98, 2000,
ME, NT4 and XP

Installation
This update only needs to be run once per EPAS Database.
1. If the database is standalone then run the update once on the standalone PC.
2. If the database is shared then run the update once on one of the client PCs
- All other Client PCs will be updated automatically at log in.
Download the following file
EPAS V2.8.5 Update
If your IT Department does not allow .exe file downloads then download
the following file
EPAS V2.8.5 Update (non-exe)
and rename update_2_8_5.xex as update_2_8_5.exe
1) Save the file to a temporary folder
2) Close EPAS
3) In Windows Explorer navigate to the temporary folder
4) Double click on update_2_8_5.exe
5) When the update is finished start EPAS
6) On the login screen Version 2.8.5 will be displayed in the bottom right hand corner
7) After login EPAS will automatically apply Update 20080016
8) The update will take approximately 10 mins
9) There is no need to recalculate any values
10) The 2008 Data can now be imported
